Ads pay. You don't.

There is no trial, no per-document fee and no card on file. FreeSign is paid for by the Google ads you see in the margins — that is the whole business model.

We never sell your data and we never read your documents. Ads are placed by page, not by content.

Three steps, about a minute

Questions people actually ask

Does an electronic signature hold up?For everyday agreements in the EU, yes — a simple electronic signature is recognised under eIDAS. Some documents (property deeds, some family law) still require a notary. When in doubt, ask a lawyer.
What happens to my document? It is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on EU servers, and deleted 5 days after signing. You can delete it sooner from the link in your email.
Is it really free — what's the catch? The catch is the ads. No limits on documents, no premium tier hiding the useful part.
